There’s so many popular songs that we love but coming in first we have Seventeen with Maestro!!
Most of you must know who Seventeen is but let’s talk a little about them.
SEVENTEEN (세븐틴) is a self-produced boy group under Pledis Entertsainment. The group consists of 13 members: S.Coups, Wonwoo, Mingyu, Vernon, Woozi, Jeonghan, Joshua, DK, Seungkwan, Hoshi, Jun, The8, Dino. They debuted on May 26, 2015, with the mini album “17 Carat”. The official fandom name is “CARAT” and the colors are Rose Quartz & Serenity.
Fun facts about Seventeen:
The name Seventeen has two meanings: Average age of all the members of the group when they first got together. One group + 13 members + three sub groups = Seventeen.
Their debut became the longest running album on the Billboard World Albums chart in 2015.
Seventeen consists of three sub units. Hip Hop Sub Unit S.Coups (leader of the hip-hop unit and the group as a whole), Wonwoo, Mingyu and Vernon.
Vocal Sub Unit Woozi (leader), Jeonghan, Joshua, DK and Seungkwan.
Performance Sub Unit Hoshi (leader), Jun, The8 and Dino.
S.Coups was supposed to debut under NU’EST and Tempest but Tempest was cancelled before they debuted.
Jeonghan cared for a pet rock which was named Doljjong
Joshua acted in A-Teen as Ryu Jooha’s Friend. He was confused when Hoshi ate with his mom in LA without him when they went on tour
Jun acted as Little Dracula in the show Intouchable, Young Ip Man in The Legend is Born: Ip Man, and child Lin Zhi-hong in The Pye Dog, and Ling Chao in Exclusive Fairytale. He was interested in auditioning because he got a 100 during karaoke.
Hoshi is the main spoiler of Seventeen comebacks. If S.Coups wasn’t the leader, he would pick Hoshi due to his meticulousness with every aspect of the team and charisma.
Wonwoo Directed the music video for Holiday. He called himself the bag of luck, but during a game of jegi, he wasn’t able to hit anything.
Woozi known for his meme where he attacks Mingyu with a guitar after Mingyu attacks him with paper signs. Will only go outside if it’s for work, home, or to the gym.
DK was to be named Yongpallie because of his singing skill. He is known for being extremely loud to the point where other groups in their practice rooms can hear him sing and get annoyed.
Mingyu is the member that all Seventeen members prank the most. Mingyu directed, shot, and edited the music video of Snap Shoot. He’s the housewife of Seventeen. He’s the clumsiest.
The8 is the fashionista of Seventeen. Struggled with learning Korean so he cried a lot in his pre-debut days. Is the member who advocates on meditation and tea ceremonies to deal with the stress and find inner peace.
Seungkwan is the K-pop professor. He has one of Seventeen’s iconic pet, Bookkeu, who people speculate is a Maltese or a Bichon Frisé mix. He wasn’t planning on becoming a singer but his teacher recorded him and uploaded it to the internet.
Vernon constantly has his earphones and headphones on which results in him being oblivious to his surroundings and mishearing people. The reason why he speaks fluent English because his mom cannot speak and understand Korean.
Dino as a child, appeared in as “Little Rain” in a Korean variety/game show called Truth or Dare. He idolizes Michael Jackson, so he’ll do some of Michael Jackson’s moves in Going Seventeen.
